Beautiful boot! I usually take an 8.5 in boots to allow for thicker socks and enough toe room, but the cut of the Thicket's toe (long with a rounded point) gives me enough room in a size 8. Although that's with thin to medium-weight socks or hose, as the very fitted ankle makes these more suited to wear with skirts. It's possible to tuck skinny jeans into them, too. I have pretty normal sized calves and am still getting back into shape after having a baby, and I had no problem with these boots fitting my legs. However, they're very fitted, so if you're unsure, check the boot measurements! My only gripe about these is a rather high foam arch that pokes at my foot, but I suppose it will give way with extended wear. All in all, another outstandingly gorgeous boot from Born!
