An extremely good looking classic loafer with a great shine and good workmanship. Surprisingly, it has a decent arch. The craftsmanship on these shoes surpasses that of other brands. I have a wide foot, but not wide enough for a W width, so the loafer takes a bit of breaking in. I was hoping to get one with a tassel, but the quality of this loafer changed my mind.

An excellent shoe! I use them for indoor soccer, volleyball, and racquetball and they have been working fantastically for all of them. The first time I wore them for a long period of time the back of the shoe made the back of my ankle tender, but I never got a blister and haven't had trouble with it since. I have wide feet and was unsure about the shoes when I first bought them; they seemed excessively snug. However, the leather loosens up after a little wear and they fit very comfortably now!

An alright shoe. I got these because I wanted an alternative to running shoes to just wear as a sneaker. Most runners have too much bling on them. These don't. My only complaints with them are that the mini cleats on them actually provide less traction on a slippery floor (not too surprising), and that the top of the tongue where the fold of the flap is cuts into the front of my ankle a bit. It only becomes a problem if I've been wearing them a few days in a row or if I'm unconsciously flexing my calf and ankle to play with it. Other than that, they're fine with a pair of jeans or khakis around the office.

Amazing! Gorgeous! Perfect! these boots are everything I have been searching for. Sleek, slim, they look like the 1930s field boots that I have never been able to find in my size. These fit true to size (I know Fryes are all across the board with their sizing sometimes, these are a perfect 7), and a little bit narrow, which is great for me. They will require break in time for sure, but they are worth it. I bought them in black and brown, which is a bit crazy considering the cost, but like I said, these boots are perfect.

Although I love the height, comfort and look of this shoe, I\'m not thrilled that I have to adjust the bands across the foot every time I put them on. However, I was warned by a reviewer of this problem. An earlier iteration of this shoe had wide bands that crossed the foot making them more secure and less likely to flap in the back. I wish Donald Pliner would manufacture that style again. The two pairs I bought are worn out. In the meantime, I\'m happy to have any of their shoes of this height.

Alpine tested - I've always been reluctant to step into a double boot due to the horrors of shin bang, bulk, limited flexibility and sheer weight. But with my adventures now requiring a double boot, I'm glad I spent the extra dough and purchased the Nuptse over some of the other conventional plastic boots. This past weekend I did 10 miles in these boots on snow that definitely had mixed consistencies. The boots fit well to both my crampons snowshoes. The fit was good and flexibility was outstanding, given the other options in the marketplace. I say that if you are looking for a double boot, drop the cash on these babies. It?s worth it when you are 10 miles out and still need to make the trek back to base camp.

Almost perfect - Although very stiff at first they are very comfortable and clearly very strong and do not get too hot. Perfect for long walks and day hiking. One problem that I have is that socks do not slide against the inner surface and get pulled very tightly against my feet. I have to leave an inch of space at the toe in order to get them on comfortably.

All-around nice shoe - The first time I wore these shoes, I did so for 8 hours straight at the office and they were great. I am a 10 Wide, bought the 10W, and had to do with this shoe the same thing I do with all my wide shoes...get those non-slip heel pads because I don't need extra width at the heel. Other than that, they were quite comfortable and looked good and as pictured.

All around favorite sandal - This sandal is the one I wear the most. I have it in 3 colors. It is true to my size 10B foot, does not slip around as I walk and the elastic sections have not stretched out as I thought they might. I wear them with pants, shorts and dresses and receive compliments on them often. The sandal lets some toenail peek out too!
